The Chairman and Directors were saddened to hear of the death of Mickey Harrold, a lifetime supporter of Salisbury City FC.supportyourclubad300x250

Mickey, a former Vice President, was passionate about the club, and he was a constant presence at matches.

Never shy about voicing an opinion, Mickey will be missed by club staff and fans alike. Many will remember his unceasing warmth, positive outlook and welcoming handshake. We are of course very pleased that he was able to see the club achieve promotion this season.

Naturally, we would like to offer our sincere condolences to Mickey’s wife Mary, and his family and friends, from all at the club.

Darrell Clarke said he will be sorely missed by the club.

“He’d always be so enthusiastic before a match and would wish us all well, I’d always have a chat with him after about the game and he always had time for everyone.”

Mikey Harris echoed the sentiments of the manager.

“Micky was a great character and was always positive towards the team whatever the result, it’s very sad news for everyone associated with the club.”
