SALISBURY City Football Club is delighted to announce it has landed a major new sponsorship deal with Cavendish Equity Release.

The club’s first team’s home strip was launched at yesterday’s open day and sees the Leeds-based company’s Ask ERIC logo emblazoned across the front.

Cavendish is the country’s longest established release adviser and last year launched the innovative and approachable Ask ERIC brand – conceived to simplify the specialist financial product that enables homeowners to access the cash tied up in their home.

The substantial deal with the Whites follows a major multimedia campaign by the company to build brand awareness.

Cavendish’s chief operations officer, Paul Carter said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have reached a sponsorship agreement with Salisbury City Football Club.

“Our day-to-day business often helps people who find themselves in difficult circumstances and it’s obvious to all that Salisbury City has had a very tough year off the field.

“Nonetheless the team has shown immense resolve and we are delighted to have Ask ERIC associated with the club.

“We hope our support will play a small part in assisting the Whites in their quest to get back to where they deserve to be.”

Salisbury chairman, William Harrison-Allan said: “This is fantastic news for the club and a real boost to morale at the beginning of the season.

“I am absolutely delighted that Paul Carter saw this as such a valuable opportunity for the Ask Eric brand.

“A new scoreboard has been constructed and I greatly look forward to seeing the team take to the field in their Ask Eric shirts.

“I know we will do our utmost to achieve as much brand exposure as possible and we look forward to what we hope will be long-standing and mutually beneficial partnership.”
