Whites increase firepower with new signings
Darrell Clarke has continued to reinforce his squad with the signing of two talented young players, Matt Clark and Abdulai Bell-Baggie.
Matt Clark is a midfielder who came up through the Swindon Town youth system and has previously played for both Swindon Town and Oxford City.
The 19-year-old is a versatile player who can play in central midfield, or wide on the right. He made his professional debut for Swindon as a substitute in their 2 – 0 League One victory over Tranmere Rovers in 2011.
He is eligible to play for the Whites at tomorrow’s league clash away at Basingstoke.
Abdulai Bell-Baggie is a forward from Blue Square Bet Premier side Hayes & Yeading. The 19-year-old has represented England at U16 and U17 levels, gaining two caps at each level.
After the early part of his career at Reading and Southampton youth set-ups, he was loaned by Reading to Rotherham United, Port Vale, and Crawley Town. In August 2011 he signed contract terms for Yeovil Town, but was released in order to join Hayes & Yeading.
