Mobile Site and App
In an effort to reach all Salisbury City fans around the globe, we have created the site that is now readable on most mobile platforms
including the iPhone. To ease this process we have stripped out most of the images to save notorious loading times, and given you the news as you want it. We are still developing it and would welcome any feedback.
As a plus, we have also released an app for iPhone users. All you need to do is go to http://www.salisburycity-fc.co.uk on your iPhone, select the ‘+’ icon at the bottom, then “Add to Homescreen’, name the shortcut, and then a Salisbury City badge will appear on your iPhone giving you a shortcut to all the latest news and views, direct from the site in a format that is readable. An iPad version is coming soon.

Is this for real, just tried it and cannot believe that we have now got an iPhone app for The Whites!
First a new sponsor, then a new board, then a new website, then a mobile site and now a F****** app.

[...] This post was mentioned on Twitter by Sean Gallagher, Salisbury City FC. Salisbury City FC said: And for all you iPhone users out there, get your SCFC fix with our new app! http://www.salisburycity-fc.co.uk/mobile-site-and-app [...]
How about an Android app as well? There are a growing number of people with Android phones!
We are doing what we can! We have only been live with the new site for a few weeks. Its on the list
I am aware that if you place you finger long enough on an empty space on your Android, a menu pops up asking you to create a shortcut. If one of the options states ‘create a shortcut to web’ then you may be able to state the Salisbury City website as the shortcut. Hopefully the Salisbury city icon will default as the web shortcut. Let me know..
Yes, that’s pretty much right. But first you need to find the site in the Android browser and bookmark it. Then you create a shortcut to the bookmark. And you do get the city crest as the icon. Cool.
Brilliant!
