Salisbury City V Didcot Town – Match ON
Following this morning inspection, the pitch has been given the all clear for this afternoon’s match.
The Club would again like to thank the supporters who volunteered to help remove snow from the pitch and surrounding areas yesterday, as well as the groundsmen for enabling this game to go ahead.
It’s hoped a good crowd will make the game to see the Whites resume league duty after an absence of Zamaretto action for the past two weeks. With Truro and Cambridge’s crunch clash postponed, today’s game at the Ray Mac is a big chance for the Whites to narrow the gap at the top.
We look forward to seeing you this afternoon. Please take care when travelling to and from the stadium.

Salisbury City resume league duty this weekend in their first Zamaretto fixture since gaining a point at leaders Truro last month. Since then, the Whites have enjoyed cup victories against Lewes and Bashley, where two very different Salisbury teams scored three in each match.
With no fixture last weekend and Tuesday night’s trip to Evesham postponed due to a frozen pitch, it’s been a frustrating time for the men in White who are hungry to play football.
Saturday’s match remains subject to a pitch inspection after heavy snowfall midweek, but thanks to the efforts of players, staff and supporters in removing the snow from the turf, the fixture remains very much alive.
Salisbury occupy second space in the league and, while Truro have opened up a seven point lead at the top, the Whites crucially have two games in hand. Ben Joyce and Ryan Brett remain injury doubts, while Jamie Turley is suspended. New loan signing Kyle Haynes is in line to make his debut.
Didcot Town, are currently 18th in the league with four wins, four draws and eleven losses so far. While looking for their first league win since October, the Railwaymen came close to causing an upset against high-flying Cambridge City, in a narrow 2-1 defeat.
With two of the league’s big contenders meeting tomorrow when Truro travel to Cambridge City, it promises to be an exciting day in the Zamaretto calendar.
Ahead of the tie, the Whites will be sporting their Prostate Cancer Charity T-shirts as part of their efforts to support the Movember Campaign. A collection will be going round at the stadium, please spare anything that you can.
Kick off is at 3pm.
Step by step action will also be available on the Club’s Official Twitter Page
Be sure to check back here before travelling. News of that pitch inspection will be posted immediately.
