Match Preview – Cirencester (H)

Salisbury head into Saturday’s game in 4th place in the league, having drawn their last two games.

City claimed a battling point away to local rivals Chippenham on the bank holiday and remain unbeaten in the first six games of the season, with three wins and three draws.

This weekend, 12th placed Cirencester Town visit the Ray Mac as the Whites go in search of three points. Despite not yet winning at home, Brian Hughes’ men are so far  unbeaten on their travels.

With the Whites supporting Non-League Football Day, it’s hoped a good crowd will enjoy Saturday’s match.

Manager Darell Clarke is likely to be without injured duo Ben Adelsbury and Kayne McLaggon, but he looks forward to the game and hopes his side continues to develo. “It’s important we get back to winning ways. Obviously we go out to try and win every game and it’s about building on the positive start that we’ve had.”

With the international break, the manager is in full support of the Club’s non-league day initiative, “It’s a great idea. It’s important people get out and support their local team, especially with us as we’re very much a community club.”

Kick-Off is at 3pm.
