Match Preview: Chesham United (A) FA Trophy
Salisbury kick off their FA Trophy campaign tomorrow with a trip to fellow Zamaretto Premier League side Chesham United.
The Whites will be looking to emulate last year’s successful run, having reached the Semi Finals of the competition.
Chesham are currently 4th in the Zamaretto, one place below Salisbury in the league ahead of what promises to be a tight cup clash.
Assistant Manager Mikey Harris hopes for a positive run in the competition, but knows the Whites face a difficult first tie.
“Obviously we enjoyed a successful run in the competition last year, and it was hugely disappointing to go out at the last hurdle against Barrow. That’s in the past and we’ll aim to get as far as we can again this time. Chesham are a good side and their doing well so this is a very tough game, but we’re in good form and we go there full of confidence and doing everything we can to get ourselves into the next round.”
Kickoff is at 3pm.
