Salisbury City make an important trip to Chesham on Saturday as they continue their bid for promotion.

The Whites recorded a disappointing defeat last weekend with a 3-0 undoing against Evesham. A conceded penalty reduced the men in white to ten, while the converted spot kick and two well-hit freekicks sealed the points for the away side.

Third in the Zamaretto, the Whites dreams of promotion are still very much alive. With three games remaining, Darrell Clarke’s men are three points off leaders Truro. Saturday’s opponents are currently sixth, three points off a playoff spot. Chesham drew 0-0 at home to  Bahley before losing 3-2 away at Leamington in their last run out.

Saturday’s match could then still play an important part in the Zamaretto season with everything very much still to play for.
