Match preview: Bedford (A)

Salisbury City play their last league match of the season today when they travel to Bedford.

While the Whites are mathematically still able to top the division, such a turnabout would take some surprising results in the remaining fixtures, but never say never in football.

The Whites will be doing everything they can to finish as strong as possible. Having guaranteed a play off spot – Darrell Clarke’s men will want to give themselves every chance of a home tie in the play offs – that will only occur if they finish second or third. With Salisbury without a game on the bank holiday Monday, it could be a tense wait for the results to come in.

City will concentrate only on events that are in their own hands and that starts with today’s match at Bedford in a 3pm kick off.
